Bio

Hello my name is Stephanie. I have been wanting to do this for so long and have been trying to get everything perfect, but nothing is ever perfect and I am diving in head first.  I realize I am learning and exploring new ideas all the time and need to just start this dream that I have had for far too long.  I am a now a retired Licensed Optician, after 29 years in the business. I have done just about everything from selling glasses, to running a lab for years, creating custom glasses in Boston, and worked with frames from top designers, to your more luxury custom glasses lines that use fine metals and stones. That bring me to here and now creating this site and wanting to still work with my hand and make some amazing crazy jewelry and everything in between that I hope calls to you as much as it does for me.  I am inspired by my years growing up on Cape Cod with the ocean. The summers at the beach with the sun on my face and the salt water in my hair.  To my love of hiking and exploring the wildernesses. On any day my favorite color could be the blues of the ocean to the greens of the forest and everything in between. My favor places to visit it Maine (I love the costal vibe there, to just a drive down the road and next thing you know you can be deep in the forest), I also love Salem, Ma, in the fall it so much fun and Halloween is my favorite holiday to boot. I am a New Englander at heart that's for sure and love the winters and snow. I also need some sun in my life too and love to go down to FL to see family and friends from time to time. I hope over time my work and sharing my world will bring us closer to a shared love of what I make and for you to enjoy it as well.
