Care Instructions

Jewelry Care

To help you jewelry maintain its quality and durability, please incorporate these tips into your care routine. My jewelry is made using .925 sterling silver and fine silver, as well as brass from time to time but mostly silver. I use a variety of gemstones, some can be very porous and can absorb lotions and other chemicals that could breakdown the durability of the stone itself. I also use patina and it needs to be noted for that as well.

Cleaning tips

1. Remove jewelry before engaging in wet or strenuous activity, bathing, swimming, or an other activity where you would sweat a lot. The salts from our skin can tarnish the jewelry over time. Also avoid lotions, perfumes, hand sanitizer on or around your jewelry.

2. Never use chemicals or solvents such as silver polish to clean your jewelry as it can destroy the stones and remove the patina that may have been added.

3. Pieces should be stored in individual airtight plastic bags to prevent oxidation and to reduce your metal from being tarnished. I like using anti tarnish tabs as well.

4. I would recommend using polishing pads to clean your jewelry, but avoid the patina. You can also clean your jewelry with warm soapy waster and a soft bristle brush.

Note. I will send care instructions with my jewelry as well as a polishing pad and an anti tarnish tab to help you care for your new jewelry.
